Seven tools. One subscription. Somewhere between 120 and 300 dollars a month, depending on which plan you choose. The promise sounds almost too good — and the first time I used Semrush seriously, I genuinely thought something was wrong because no single platform should have this much data under one roof.
But here is the thing nobody tells you upfront: having access to seven tools and knowing how to use seven tools are completely different problems. Semrush is the most powerful marketing platform I have worked with. It is also the one with the steepest learning curve, the most overwhelming dashboard for newcomers, and pricing that takes the longest to justify for smaller operations.
