Renewal Prices

Illustrative arithmetic: 36 months of HostGator Hatchling at the promo price is $135.00 ($3.75 × 36). Hostinger Premium for 48 months is $143.52, which is about $2.99 a month over a longer commitment. These are calculations on listed prices, not quotes. See Hostinger pricing explained for the full renewal picture.
Where Each One Is Stronger
- Hostinger: lowest published monthly price, NVMe storage on Business, and WordPress tooling such as LiteSpeed and a CDN. See Is Hostinger good for WordPress.
- HostGator: more sites on the entry plan, a bundled security list (malware scanning, WAF, DDoS protection), SSH and WP-CLI and a staging site listed on its plans.
- Both: a free first-year domain, a 30-day money-back guarantee and 24/7 support.
We have not measured speed or uptime on either host, so we make no performance claim. HostGator’s “ideal for 40K visits a month” and similar lines are its own guidance, not a test result.
